2012 Ford Mustang Overview
Spread over nearly 50 years a consistent production, the 2012 Ford Mustang continues its reign as the US's longest-selling pony car, with more performance and convenience features than ever before, making the Mustang shopper plenty of options for his or her real one in a Mustang making-of-a-kind car.
Whether opting for a top-down cruiser, a coupe with some added zip, or an all-out performance machine, the Mustang shows shoppers the choice all with a check of a box. From the base V-6 model 31 mpg makes to the street-legal race car known as the Boss 302 Laguna Seca edition, the Mustang comes in different degrees of speed.
But the 2012 Ford Mustang is a very viable vehicle, with seating for four and a six-speed manual or optional six-speed automatic. The optional Sync hands-free calling makes communication a safe exercise, and MyKey programmable key from Ford, parents can program a speed limiter and audio volume settings, so they are not afraid to put the key to give a 412 horsepower V -8 Mustang GT for their teenage sons or daughters.
2012 Ford Mustang The Range
Body style: Two-door coupe or convertible
Engines: 3.7-liter V-6, 5.0-liter V-8
Transmissions: six-speed manual, six-speed automatic
Models: Mustang, Mustang GT, Mustang Boss 302, Boss 302 Mustang Leguna Seca
2012 Ford Mustang What's new
In a first for Ford, the 2012 Ford Mustang offers adjustable steering wheel, which the driver can choose between three different settings for how fast the car to the wheel, including a tighter sports fashion. Also new for 2012 are illuminated visor vanity mirrors twice, a universal garage door opener, and multifunctional storage visor. Backup sensors, a safety kit, and HID headlights are also new options available. Finally, the Mustang has a limited amount of colors, Lava Red Metallic. The color option will come with Lava Red with black interior and color-keyed door and seat inserts.
2012 Ford Mustang Outside
With a modern take on a retro design, the 2012 Ford Mustang fastback is a standard with an aggressive look that could only be a Mustang. The sequential rear turn signals indicators pick up a cue from the '70s, and classic long-hood, short deck proportions, the Mustang looks fast even when stationary. Boss 302 models look much louder, with bright orange paint and aerodynamic tweaks, but most add-ons are fully functional for go-fast, hardcore enthusiasts.
2012 Ford Mustang Interior
Compact interior of the Ford Mustang definitely looks retro with its classic styling and a three-spoke steering wheel modeled after Mustangs of yore. But with the addition of the Electronics package that includes many built-in navigation in the middle of the dashboard, that all changes fast installation. With the addition of the Laguna Seca package to the Boss 302 Mustang forgoes a back seat for a roll cage and chassis braces.
2012 Ford Mustang Performance & Handling
When it comes to performance, even the base V-6 Ford Mustang is all basic. In V-6 models, power comes from a 3.7-liter engine capable of 305 horsepower - almost as much as a V-8 powered Mustang GT 2010. With all that power, acceleration from zero to 60 mph happens in 5.1 seconds, and with the Performance Package, the car pulls 0.96g of lateral acceleration - which is only $ 25,000 for the model! From there, the speeds just faster and better treatment only if customers switch to the 412-horsepower 2012 Ford Mustang GT V-8, which is a BMW M3 a run for the money half the cost, or buyers can step up to the Boss 302 and positively insane 444 hp Seguna Seca which packs 380 lb-ft of torque, and can hang with supercars for well under $ 50,000.
2012 Ford Mustang Safety
Optional on the 2012 Ford Mustang SYNC system is 911 Assist and Vehicle Health Report in addition to the standard AdvanceTrac electronic stability control, traction control and ABS as standard. Other safety features include dual-stage driver and front passenger airbags and MyKey that owners of a secondary key program to stereo volume and speed limit.

2012 Audi R8 Overview
The 2012 Audi R8 is Audi's halo car: A low-slung, two-seat supercar, partly derived from the Lamborghini Gallardo (Lamborghini is owned by parent company Audi's company). Big V-8 of the R8 and the V-10 engine and quattro all-wheel drive to offer blistering performance on the job, but still pliable enough to cruise Rodeo Drive in style, all at a price more accessible than the average supercar.
Keep fresh the R8, Audi V-10 engine added in the second model year of the car, in his third year the convertible Spyder model was added, and new for the 2012 model year, Audi R8 takes its powerful engine and, well, makes the even more powerful. The 5.2-liter V-10 adds 35 horsepower, and now totals a mighty 560 horsepower. Slim exotic styling, an ultra-premium interior, the performance at the ready, the R8 is a must for anyone considering looking at this top-tier segment.
The 2012 Audi R8 is a driver's car through and through. Luggage space is minimal, but a storage package adds nets behind the seats for luggage shelf unusable. Though capable, the R8 is tuned more like a Grand Tourer than a street-legal race car. Fuel consumption remains on par with its racier brethren, but that's not really the point, right?

Body Styles: coupe, convertible
Engines: 4.2-liter V-8, 5.2-liter V-10

2012 Audi R8 Interior
The German automaker has built a reputation for producing top-notch interiors, and the 2012 Audi R8 is a good example. Audi's Multi Media Interface (MMI) uses a dial on the dashboard, but compared to newer systems, this is not the most convenient and user-friendly infotainment system. Aluminum accents on the multi-function steering wheel, air vents and the console to offer a premium to touch. Sporty leather power seats are standard, like climate control, navigation, Bluetooth, and a premium stereo. An optional convenience package adds a rearview camera, hill-hold and heated auto-dimming and power folding side mirrors.
2012 Audi R8 Performance & Handling
The 2012 Audi R8 is already a potent road and track machine with its 4.2-liter V-8 developing 420 hp, but the real power-mad will choose the new 560 hp 5.2-liter V-10. Both engines are coupled to either a six-speed single-clutch automatic transmission or a six-speed manual and Audi's quattro all-wheel drive system, making handling and excellent cornering. Despite its impressive performance, the R8 supercar is a relatively practical and has a comfortable ultra-premium interior, good visibility, and relative comfort.

2012 BMW M3 Overview
Long considered one of the best sports sedans on the market, the 2012 BMW M3 is the ultimate iteration of the 3 Series: A sample track with all the luxury amenities and technology BMW could put in its compact offerings. At the heart of the BMW M3 is a high-revving 4.0-liter V-8 engine that belts out a screaming 414 horsepower. That power is transmitted to the rear wheels via BMW's six-speed manual or a DCT seven-speed sequential automatic.
Styling is more aggressive than the standard coupe and convertible with wide fenders, a "power dome" hood, and vents that allow warm air from the engine compartment. The car also has computer programs to select and gas suspension settings to optimize for the road or the racetrack.
What the 2012 BMW M3 has always a treat, but not the all-out performance, but rather the balance and equilibrium that one of the best all-arounders out there. It is as practical as a daily driver because it is a track-day toy, though we imagine that it would be fun to be an open raceway.

2012 BMW 6-Series Overview
The muscle car of BMW's lineup, the2012 BMW 6-series is nothing like anything else in the fleet of the German automaker's. Sized as a 5-series sedan but lower, longer and wider, all-new BMW 6-series is the third generation of personal luxury coupe with the name. Unlike the last model, which ran from 2003 to 2010, the new vehicle alerts the controversial styling and snubbed rear end of the final model for a smooth, flowing lines from front to back.
Powering the 2012 BMW 6-series, a new 315-horsepower turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 borrowed from the BMW 535i is the 640i. It comes with a start-stop-start system as standard equipment that automatically turn off the car at rest to conserve fuel. Moving the series, buyers of the 400-horsepower V-8 BMW 650i to get in either an 8-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual at no additional cost. The BMW 650i is also available with xDrive all-wheel drive with the automatic.
Both faster and more efficient than its predecessor, the 2012 BMW 6-Series is a leap forward with a blend of sportiness, luxury and style. While BMW had the V-10 engine found in the discontinued M6 sports coupe, BMW expects will follow after the 560-hp turbo V-8-powered M5 super sedan with a new M6 of similar output and performance.

2012 BMW 6-Series Outside
With a new "shark nose" grille forward sloping and deep, flat-bodied, the 2012 BMW 6-series looks sleek with clean body and an elegant design. Joint design of BMW signals - double headlights, taillights divided into two parts, and the famous "Hoffmeister" kink in the rear pillar sheet metal - are present, but the design is stretched and not as upright as most BMWs. On convertible models, buttresses flank of the small, flat rear window. A great feature of what is in place is that the rear window can stay without the top, making it as a wind buffering without having to be installed in a place that cuts back the interior space.

Optimized for operator comfort, the 2012 BMW 6-series controls are within easy reach and easy to browse. The only exception is BMW's iDrive entertainment and multitasking diagnostic system in the dashboard that runs through a 10.2-inch monitor. Although BMW has tweaked progressively more intuitive, users still have some difficulty quickly scroll between audio and climate controls, for example. Otherwise, the interior is a sumptuous blend of wood, leather and aluminum. It is filled with technology such as a head-up display and night cameras.

2012 BMW 6-Series Performance & Handling
The 2012 BMW 6-series is a great car, but it is also one of the major sporting BMW's vehicles. Expect to be treated as a smaller, more versatile vehicle than it is. With 315 horsepower in the base engine, it's a fast runner to 60 mph from rest in 5.5 seconds. 650i coupe with xDrive, the extra traction of having the power guided by both the front and rear wheels push the car to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the rear-wheel-drive model. BMW's acceleration estimates are often very conservative, though. New Integral Active Steering with rear wheel drive control should help to improve performance even more.
