2013 Audi Q5 Hybrid What's new for 2013
2013 Audi Q5 Hybrid - The 2013 Audi Q5 Hybrid's first mass-produced hybrid vehicle Audi. This will display the inline-4 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and eight-speed automatic transmission, electric motor and the motor will stop and restart quickly in traffic, improve fuel economy. Combined, the two power plant makes 241 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque and impressive power will be delivered through a system of all-wheel-drive. When equipped with standard turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, the Audi Q5 to achieve 20 mpg city/27 mpg highway and 22 mpg combined, so we hope Hybrid Q5 to achieve 30 mpg combined.
Audi Q5 hybrid said, the 0-60 mph dash-decision in 7 seconds. Q5 with a conventional 3.2-liter V6 that reaches the same speed in 6.8 seconds. Audi Q5 Hybrid also said is 100 km / h (62 mph) only achieve power lithium batteries and has a range of just under two miles at a speed of 60 km / h (37 mph).
Sounds good in theory, but we've driven the European prototype and found that the gas engine control early and often. Nevertheless, Q5 Hybrid impressed us because it feels more like a small, sporty SUV than a hybrid. Packaging hybrid components will look as clean as what you would find in a hybrid version of Porsche Cayenne or VW Touareg. 2013 Audi Q5 Hybrid Lithium-ion batteries located under the rear floor where the spare tire used to be in place that consumes a negligible amount of Q5 is 29.1 cubic feet capacity.
The 2013 Audi Q5 Hybrid features should be very similar to the usual model. These include a hard drive-based navigation and music server systems, voice recognition and wireless hotspot feature that allows passengers to access the Internet up to eight devices. Nineteen-inch wheels are standard, with optional 20-inch wheels. The 2013 Q5 Hybrid will also be able to tow up to 4400-pound towing capacity, Audi says.
No official price has been announced but we expect the 2013 Audi Q5 Hybrid to start at around $ 42,000. That's not a huge increase over normal Q5, but it would be a pretty expensive option for a small luxury crossover SUV. We certainly will know more in the coming months, so look for more news and driving impressions of the North American edition when it becomes available.

It will be interesting to see what people at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, reminiscent of the Audi Urban Concept. Car manufacturers, and Audi is no exception, seem to think, to drum up excitement for these shows, they come up with designs that would never sell in the real world. There are some good ideas at work here though, and even some design philosophies in the sketches that could iron out a few things if you changed. Of course, the 21-inch wheels with no apparent ties, the sliding cockpit canopy, and other such real-world impossibilities have to bear.
What is good, however, is the cycle fender wheel covers, and the slate clean, lightweight design. I love the ribbon on the car that is a clear nod to the R8. Other things, like the seats are a bit contrived. The passenger seat is a few inches back of the drivers, á la the VW XL1 concept, presumably to accommodate the shoulder in an otherwise tight quarters, but like other manufacturers, who do similar things, including tandem seating, eg Renault Twizzy, they seem to forget that humans are social beings, we like to talk, or at least see each other. On the other hand, being urban roundabouts perhaps the drive was just short enough that we do without each other for the moment.
The Urban Concept uses of carbon fiber reinforced plastic for the chassis, and poured into the bucket seats, further evidence that the carbon is not just for looks and more supercars. The drivetrain is all electric, as you probably guessed, and has two "e-tron" engines, or engines are the same as that of the powerful e-tron concept is unknown. In fact, all information regarding the performance is still under wraps for now.
Audi is on a roll lately, releasing car after car, a small town around the electric sense and a great addition to the stable. The Urban Concept in particular, could fill that niche, and quite nicely. There is a masculinity and quality of this car that many others seem to miss.
I for one am looking forward to the 2011 Frankfurt show in September. I will focus on Audi pulls the sheet off of this one, because there are many questions surrounding the car. It will be interesting to see Audi Enter.
