2012 Lotus Evora Overview
The 2012 Lotus Evora complement the Exige and Elise in the boutique line-up of British roadsters, although the latter two vehicles were soon put to an end. The Evora is different from the other two with a back seat, albeit a thin one. The Lotus Evora Lotus has a more elaborate, big and comfortable enough to be used as a daily ride to and from work.

A 3.5-liter V-6 engine courtesy of Toyota produces a healthy 276 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The Evora S boats a supercharged version of that engine with 345 horsepower. Substantiation Versatile Vehicle Architecture come from Lotus' bonded and riveted a fabrication of aluminum. It also includes aluminum subframe at the front and rear. This helps keep the Evora's weight under 3000 pounds.

2012 Lotus Evora What's New
Lotus announced a supercharged version of the Evora earlier this year. Known as the Evora S, increases the Evora's horsepower, the lack of one of the few sources of complaint to the non-supercharged version was first introduced.
2012 Lotus Evora Exterior
The Evora is offered as a four-seater sports car dressed in either the base or S trim Evora. The floating rear wing and dual exhaust pipes are redirected to pop out from the center of the rear bumper. Standard features cast aluminum wheels, bi-xenon headlamps, and heated mirrors. Three optional packages are available to them, the premium, technology and sports. The Premium and Technology packages focuses on the interior, while the Sport package receives a bottom rear diffuser, titanium exhaust tips, and black brake calipers.

The Evora's interior is equipped with air conditioning, a radio and CD player, and racing seats wrapped in leather. Optional features include cruise control, a navigation system and backup camera. While the hull is almost non-existent with only 6.0 cubic feet of space available in the rear double as storage space. The Evora's interior varies from others in stable Lotus' soft-touch leather, carpets and other comfort. The few buttons and knobs that are around are easy to interact with. Getting in and out is easier than doing so in the Exige and Elise, thanks to larger door openings. With the driver's side wheel and hinder the footwell clutch had to be shifted to the right about an inch and can prove difficult for some. The rear seats are barely noticeable, because they are so small and can be compared to a bench wrapped with leather belts draped over. It is recommended that the Evora just configured without them.

A 3.5-liter V-6 engine is rated at 276 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, while coupled with a six-speed gearbox. An optional six-speed push button automatic transmission with paddle shift is also available. Lotus claims the Evora can get up to 60 mph from a standstill in 4.9 seconds, while topping out at 172 mph. The Evora S is on the receiving end of a 3.5-liter V-6 compressor engine to 345 hp lashes supplied by Toyota. Lotus claims a nothing to 60 mph time of 4.6 seconds. Acceleration, braking and handling are similar to Porsche Cayman S. AP Racing brakes bring the Evora to a standstill with a purpose and a control arm suspension with Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs Boost handling.
