2013 Toyota Venza Crossover Ahead of its Debut in the Big Apple

Among the many new models on the way to the 2012 New York Auto Show this week for their first public appearance was the 2013 Toyota Venza.

The Japanese firm's mid-size crossover gets some subtle changes, including a less complicated grille, new headlamps with LED daytime running lights fixtures on the higher trim models, a redesigned front bumper with a revised grille and new rear graphics.

Completion of the changes on the outside, the new 19-inch wheels and three fresh exterior colors called Attitude Black, Cypress Pearl, and Cosmic Gray Mica.

The interior is upgraded with new standard features, including the addition of a blind spot mirror and exterior mirrors with puddle lamps, turn signals on the base LE and Toyota Entune multimedia system on the XLE and Limited grades.

For 2013, the Venza is still offered with two powertrains, a 2.7-liter four-cylinder produces 181hp and return 23mpg combined (FWD), and a 3.5-liter V6 with 268hp rated at 22mpg (FWD). All-wheel drive is offered as an option on both models.
