Jeep Wrangler is the flagship, and is also one of the most recognizable vehicles on the road today. The new 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine replaces the weak V-6, which was an obstacle to the Wrangler for years. The new V-6 produces 285 horsepower and can be linked to a five-speed automatic transmission. Every Wrangler is made for the 2012 model year is four-wheel drive, adding to the lore that is off-road Wrangler.

The removable top is a popular feature for as long as the Wrangler is on sale to the public. The usual two-door Wrangler is offered, while the four-door configuration is known as the Unlimited. Although the interior has become more civilized over the years, it still has a robust look. Jeep but still wants the driver to feel like walking through mud, dust, and anything Mother Nature can throw at you is no big deal. While navigating the inland trails the Wrangler is capable of holding 86 cubic feet cargo space when the second row seats removed. Note that if you opt for the soft top, secure storage is limited to the small center console and glove box. The soft-top itself is difficult to increase and decrease, and if you decide to do in the way of the large plastic windows can be cumbersome.
